Rama Narayanaswamy

Rama Narayanaswamy joined the Calibre Academy as the Head-Teacher, bringing to Calibre, her rich experience of 25+ years in the field of education. Previously, Rama taught Mathematics and French in PSBB and has also been a Mathematics tutor in St.Xavier's College, Mumbai and Lady Doak College, Madurai.

In PSBB, she was voted as an Outstanding Maths Teacher by her students. She is the recipient of the prestigious Ramanujam Math Academy Award and has been felicitated by the Rotary Club of Madras for her contributions in the field of education.

She regularly authors Math text-books and work-books for the print and online divisions of Macmillan publishers, a premier publishing house. Rama's passion for working with children goes beyond the classroom. She encourages children to take part in cultural and sports activities as well as theatre productions, guiding them to bring out their best.

An expert in conducting student exchange programs, Rama has taken student groups to France and Japan. She has also attended several education conferences and workshops across the country.

Rama believes in creating a wholesome program where Calibre's students will receive a well-rounded education, enabling them to enter the challenges of high school as confident individuals.
