International Relations

PARTNERSHIP – Calibre Academy with Edward Richardson Primary School, UK

The Calibre Educational Foundation was established with the main aim of bringing scientific and effective international systems and methodologies to education in India by setting up path breaking educational institutions that will empower students to excel in the changing global scenario. Thus was born Calibre Academy, a school which believes in developing happy, knowledgeable proactive and responsible global citizens by providing internationally competent quality education through a system of activity oriented teaching and participative learning.

Partnership Deed

Competence in the international scenario is possible only through active exchange with the worldwide educational environment. The Calibre academy has entered into a partnership with Edward Richardson Primary School (Awarded the International School Award by the British Council UK) under the Global School partnership scheme run by The British Council. The partnership is designed for mutual enrichment through an active exchange in the areas of syllabus, teaching methodologies, teacher and student interactions between the two schools as well as exchange programs. Consistent inputs of Indian culture supplemented by exposure to various foreign culture results in a firmly grounded personality with a broadminded understanding.

It all began in the year 2006 when our Correspondent Mrs.Madhuvanthi Arun decided to open a school of her own and immediately thought of striking a partnership with Andrew Hyde the Head Teacher of Edward Richardson Primary School, Tetford, whom she knew from long. Thus was born a fruitful relationship between our school and the Edward Richardson Primary School which has been further encouraged by the British Council by incorporating us into the Global School Program.
