Guest Lecture by Dr. Santosh JacobThe workshop was meant for the pre-primary teachers. It was a three hour programme which was interactive. The workshop started with an interesting activity. The teachers were asked to write what they have learnt in the past one year on one side of the paper and what her students learnt from her on the other side. Discussion was done on the same, followed by learning of child development and child psychology through power point presentation. The teachers were also taught lot of self engaging and classroom activities like: Building blocks, lacing, clay molding, trampoline jumping, playing in sand pit, etc. Mrs. Janaki ended her presentation on ‘’How to handle special and deficient children’’.
Through this workshop the teachers thoroughly understood about child psychology and how to be a child friendly teacher.
